Help for level 5
« on: November 26, 2021, 12:59:18 pm »
Hello, I am new to the forum. I am a Spanish speaker and I live in Spain. I have decided to do TROM and I am using online translators to translate the documentation. I have complete understanding of levels 2, 3 and almost level 4. But I find level 5 more complex. With the translations I don't have enough to understand the basic procedure of handling, for example, 1A.

I have found additional information that has helped me for a better understanding of TROM at http://rolfdane.com/TROMtech/trom.htm. But I am still stuck in understanding the first step of level 5, even after reading Dennis' lecture : "The Tape transcript by Mr Stephens for running level 5".

Could someone, in his own words, tell me how he does the procedure of step 1A of the postulate failure cycle chart?

Thanks.

Hello!

You wrote that You have complete understanding of levels 2, 3 and almost level 4. But what about lvl completion? What about verifying lvl completion on e-meter? And what about RI(lvl1)? I think complete understanding of each lvl might appear only when lvl is finished. Also doing lvl5 without other levels finished might be dangerous. I had that experience.

You asked to give explanation in onw words. I'll try, but please, don't do that before all others lvls finished.

The idea of lvl5 is to use raw postulates and game situations. Raw postulate is pure goal without any specific object\effect. For example, postulate "I want to eat hot dog" is not raw. "I want to eat something" looks better. Lets change some words: "I want to eat something" = "I want to feel taste and fullnes" = "I want to know feeling of taste and fullnes". So it's not raw too because there are concrete objects (concrete taste and fillnes). But the postulate "I want to know feeling of taste and fullnes"  =  "I want to know" is raw enough. "I want to know" includes all situations with eating hot dogs and other food. So we can't work with raw postulate instead of working with particular.

So in TROM and Scientology PC tries to do consciously what Reactive Mind does automatically. PC does it to overcome the automaticity of reactive mind. At lvl5 PC creates two postulate: one for himself and second for the other. It's very simple. Create your desire to know something in front of you. Create someone else desire to prevent you from knowing in other place. Hold both some time. At that moment a lot of charge goes off, it dissapears and you need a lot of RI. Or you need to go to a hospital if previous lvls undone. You do what your mind does automatically. You create two postulates in opposition, and your mind does the same all time of your life but in silent mode.

Hello Dmitry,

Thank you for your information. A simple sentence of yours in the answer "You create two postulates in opposition..." has helped me a lot in understanding how to start in the future level 5.

I have not started TROM yet. When I say I have understanding I mean that what I have translated and read is material that I can use to do TROM with assurance.

I don't know how easy it must be for English speakers to understand how to read the TROM documentation in their own language. But I can tell you from my experience that translating certain information online into Spanish is a chaos. I can give you as an example the 8 classes of overwhelm and its definition. It appears from the Spanish usage of the verbs “Saber/Conocer” that 1. “Forced to know” and 5. “Forced to be known” have the same translation. From there...

Thanks for the advice not to do anything before the previous levels are finished. I wouldn't even think of it, out of respect for what I already know.

Years ago I was declared Clear in the Freezone. And now I'm looking forward to continuing to blaze the trail.

Thank you.

Dmitry

Thank you for the Rolf Dane link to what he calls "Super Trom". I really appreciate that.

Level Five has me looking at the forest and not each tree in the forest - for now.  It is there for me when I am ready for it - limb by limb, lol   :D
With the prior levels I know exactly what Dennis is prepping us for.
