Hm..

Personally I consider the words PURPOSE and POSTULATE to be synonyms (in the TROM universe).

I did some work in this area a few months ago and found about 20-30 words that I considered to be synonyms of the word POSTULATE.
They are just weaker or more complex or includes some counter postulates in them.
Dennis also mentioned a few of these and called them synonyms (of the word POSTULATE).
This is what started my search.

My viewpoint is that the POSTULATE is the real thing and all those others are different flavours of the thing.
With FLAVOUR I mean it is more of a mix of significances and often more than one single clean POSTULATE in the package (flavour).

Typical synonyms are INTENTION, CONSIDERATION, HOPE, DREAM, ACTION, AGREEMENT...
(all of them lower quality postulates)
