Title: Why I TROM
Post by: guest54 on March 09, 2019, 09:33:44 am
I had a good chunk of Scientology training yet have had no Bridge auditing because the Church declared me an illegal pc.

I don't have any issues with Scn technology itself, but the Church's policies got in my way (and I do believe their policies make them get in their own way too, as COS is in a compulsive games condition trying to "clear the planet" with a technology most people can't afford).

My Academy indoctrination for the longest time made me afraid to do anything that would be described as "squirreling".   LRH is right to some degree in that there are dangers of students taking processes, altering them, and then ruining people's minds as he talks about in Keeping Scientology Working.

That said, there is a downside in that Scientology is a great technology, but it cannot move forward.

Finding an alternative to Scn that I was comfortable with was not easy for me, partially because of my indoctrination, and partially because I did not want to get some screwy crap that ruined my mind.

But I could trust Dennis Stephens, not just because he was in Scn for so long, but because everything he wrote made perfect sense to me.

TROM is the only mental therapy I use, and since the subject of Scn fits within TROM, I use that too (whatever Dennis does not cover, I revert back to LRH, an attitude I am sure Dennis would approve of). It's all one subject to me.

I am in the beginning of level four, I've had about 4-5 sessions of it after about 150-200 hours of 1,2 and 3.  I intend to thoroughly explore the TROM tech before I look at anything else, because I want to see what pure TROM will do for my case.

I have no regrets over my Scn training or my decision to do TROM.  I recommend it to anyone who has been denied auditing by the Church who is capable of running solo per Dennis' requirements.

Hello, Guest, I concur 100% with everything you wrote.  I've never before had such a level of certainty re vanishing case, and I've stopped further searching for a good DIY bridge to "native state", as Ron called it.  I'm not saying there is not another DIY bridge b/c I'm sure there is more than one way to skin a cat.  I'm saying trom theory and practices speak to me as someone with a long Scientology track, and like yourself, much of scientology datums, practices, and constructs are still useful.
