All physical objects are in the present moment so grabbing them is the mechanical way of putting your attention on the present moment.
Thank you for your reply Pete as well as your work to preserve and update this material. As you know, in study tech, anytime you dont understand something, you research it until it is clear. It seems like a small point, but the first thing I would like to bring up is this sentence you wrote:
The balance of the processes in TROM are for finding emotionally charged incidents in the past that pull your attention out of the present and by repeatedly looking at them reduce their charge so you can put your attention on the present moment in time.
My question is about the word "balance". Don't you mean "intent"?
Next you state:
All physical objects are in the present moment so grabbing them is the mechanical way of putting your attention on the present moment.
My first question about this is: regarding the physical objects in the present moment, say, in this hotel room where I am typing this. Are all of these objects here and created by something else? Or did "I" create everything that I currently perceiving with my 5 senses?
My next question is: all TROM exercises are run until there is no more change in awareness. But I cant imagine any change in awareness from doing this exercise or any change in awareness after doing it for 1 hour.
My final question: Do you have an expectation of what this exercise might produce? Would you oversee some sessions of this for pay? I'm not committing to engaging your services, but I am interested.
Hello, Supreme, did you find someone to twin with, or a volunteer to help you get started on your DIY journey through TROM? As you know I can work with someone briefly over skype ... enough times for them to get grooved in.
