Ok, so I've read the level one section in the book....ummmm WHAT?? It doesn't explain hardly anything. So you have to create an "importance" but he doesn't explain what that means at all. Does it have to be something you visualize (a loved one, pet, etc)? Just a concept (vibrant health, happiness, etc)? Do you have to remember all these importances as you are placing them around you for five or ten minutes straight? What if you can't think of that many different ones? So, placing these things around your body in space is supposed to somehow create a physical/emotional change in you? And if it DOESN'T produce any change whatsoever, then doing level two would put you in some kind of danger, as you supposedly aren't mentally stable enough to handle it?
Any clarification is appreciated.
I love Pete's warm fuzzies.
I can't swear I am exactly duplicating Dennis' very succinct intstructs except that I know I'm putting something that is important to me around me 360, whether is is the same thing over and over or a list of things I've made.
I have a photo file on my hard drive labeled "Eye Candy" and I flip through those photos putting each one around me 360. I do feel some sort of energetic change.
As far as running RI during sessions I think it serves the purpose of you giving the mind an importance instead of the mind giving you its importance ("Warning, Will Robins, danger, danger ..." - from "Lost in Space tv series).
It satiates the mind at the end of session, and quiets the mind in prep for smoother timebreaking.
Sometimes after a good session people get the munchies and snack to satiate the mind - compensate for the importance it gave up during the session - psychic mass and/or postulates.
How is RI going for you now?
If you feel you need CCH's I can recommend some people.
