Ok, let me share of what i do with the similarities and differences. I have taken reference to the book "Self Analysis, by L. Ron Hubbard" where it is described that the reactive mind mostly records smells, sounds (+loudness), taste, vision, touch etc.. so i build up a list of things i always want to use:
- seeing/vision, appearance
- hearing, soft and loud sound an object makes (and getting as close to hearing the sound the past object makes and the present object)
- smelling, smell the object has (and imagining smelling the past object and present object)
- feeling, touching, the hardness/softness, dry/wet, hot/cold of the material
- feeling, texture, moving your imaginary finger over the surface(s) of the past and present object
- weight, actually feeling the weight of the past and present object
- size or dimension
- significance, the function or purpose of the past/present object and how their importance is intensified (a bicycle is important when you need to travel)
- how it is used, see yourself using the past/present object
- taste, taste the past/present object as best as you can
- how i feel about the past/present object (ugly, beautiful, angry, happy, bored)
Anyway, i just wanted to share this, hope it helps.
