This is also posted in the Level One section of the forum but I should post it here too. It's just that important to know that the R.I. Instructions on Pete's TromHelp.org website are
very mistaken, and as it is my mission to inform others on the correct way to do TROM in terms they can understand, here it is:
This video compares the wrong way Pete shows you how to do R.I. on his tromhelp.org website to the correct technique according to the manual. For starters, he doesn't even give the correct definition of what an 'importance' is, and there are other issues with it as well. Watch this video, and you'll have more effective R.I. sessions as a result.

What Peter is teaching is so far afield from TROM, he should name it something else.
There are actually even more flaws in Pete's instructions than are pointed out on this video. For starters, you don't interrupt a 'guided session' with further instructions on how to perform it. You instruct first, then guide uninterrupted. Also, one of my consultants pointed out that Peter's 'rub out the unconsciousness' technique violates the principal of "What turns it on will turn it off" and that I needed to emphasize more in the video that by 'rubbing out' sensations during R.I. you are robbing yourself of the benefit of the exercise. In other words, you don't 'rub it out' so you can get 'back into session'. Unconsciousness surfacing and then blowing as a result of CONTINUING TO CREATE IMPORTANCES AROUND YOU is the whole point.
I may do an updated cut of this video and include that, but for now I'll just include it here.
