Dennis did make comments like, "TROM should be taught in schools". He also said on a tape that all the Scientology auditors can now go home, all we really need them for now is to run CCH.
I don't really believe someone would come up with something like TROM with the intent of it staying a small subject. I know Dennis wanted people to have an alternative to Scientology. He wouldn't say something like what I just quoted, which basically amounts to "TROM replaces Scientology" unless he meant it.
I think you may be confusing this idea that Dennis wanted TROM to 'stay small' because in another recording he said that he researched and developed TROM, and he personally did not want to peddle it, and he wanted someone else to.
Peter's not qualified to be that person. Sure, we can say his heart was in the right place and he really tried hard, and we should be thankful for that, and I am thankful to Peter, much the same way I would be thankful if he gave me food on a dirty plate which he could have easily cleaned, when I am starving to death.
So, we can say Peter's intent came from a good place. And I believed that it was 100% good all the way up to when I offered to help him for free and he refused. He should be now, in no uncertain terms, aware of all the things on his site and in his books that repel people from TROM but won't even spell-check his site. He won't even spend the ten or fifteen minutes it would take to do that. He won't lift a finger to correct any of his overt products, and he won't allow anyone else to. These are HUGE red flags.
I don't want him to have the death penalty or be punished in any other way. It's much better for me to warn people away from his overt products and provide books and services the way he should have in the first place, and offer my help if he needs it or wants it. Hell, I can think of two other Trommers who would probably help him with his issues if only he would ask if he has a personal problem with me, which I can understand if he did. It's not easy having one's mistakes pointed out to them and take responsibility for them as well.
It's more important to me that the subject of TROM be accessible to the masses and preserved so it will perpetuate through time than it is to be polite to Pete, or anyone who sympathizes with this, "Well, the product really sucks but I tried really hard" attitude. That attitude is just not going to fly when someone is trying to decide between TROM and Scientology and decides to go with the subject that appears to have its act together.
Maybe I'll put the specifics on another post so I don't have to make this one read like a novel, but currently, the Church is altering key data and omitting important drills on the courses they teach. I have a friend who showed me their Survival Rundown course pack, and without barely reading it, I instantly spotted several points of out-tech in it that would lessen the value of that course, and LRH would have heads roll if he were still alive today and saw them.
